International Trade Events

One of South West Screen's priorities is to help companies from the region take advantage of opportunities in the global market place. Working with key partners including UKT&I, we deliver a strategic programme of support to help South West talent participate at key sales events and business conferences across the globe. If your company has demonstrable capacity for entering international markets, we may be able to help you.

South by Southwest

The SXSW Interactive Festival (13 - 17 March 2009) takes place in Austin, Texas and celebrates the creativity and passion behind the coolest new media technologies. Panel sessions cover everything from web design to bootstrapping to social networks, and industry giants like Google host the parties. If this sounds up your street and you have brilliant digital content or services to show off, read on: South West Screen and iShed are looking to support representatives from six digital media companies to take Texas by storm.

You can also apply to Chinwag's Digital Mission, a trade mission to SXSW for 40 of the UK's hottest digital SMEs (either in conjunction with the South West funding or independently).
